Friday Daylong Intensives-

Check-In 9:30-10:00

Each Daylong will break separately for lunch (Food Trucks Outside)

Tricky Transitions with Sam & Luka

We’ve got acro delights, surprises, and puzzles for you! We’ll be focusing on transition treats that teach you how to move better, that invite you to improve your connection or timing, range of motion, balance, or spatial awareness. Some of these transitions will connect into longer flows, others we’ll group with more challenging variations of related movements for some mutli-level modules. We've really taken “all-levels” to heart and aim to offer enjoyable and challenging acro for everyone, from the novice acrobat to the hardened L-base nerd.

Pre-reqs: None. All-Levels welcome.

Performance Creation with Kaelibeth Rose & Chris Rosado

This daylong intensive will guide you through the process of how to create a routine, from the first spark of an idea to your big moment on stage. Not only will you learn tangible formulas for how to bring your vision to life, including stage presence, creative transitions, musicality, and more, you’ll also get the chance to practice these skills in real time. We’re going to create a real group routine that we’ll be performing on Saturday at the talent show! If you’ve dreamed of performing, but didn’t know where to start, this is the perfect opportunity to be fully supported on your first steps. And if you already perform and are looking for ways to improve your art, this rich approach that draws from competitive acrobatic gymnastics, circus arts, and cheer-style acro will take your craft to the next level.

Pre-Reqs: All-levels welcome. A willingness to try new things and a mindset of fun & safety. Optional–  If you have a skill (partner or solo) that you feel confident in,  bring it (mentally) to potentially be included in the group performance.

Icarian Daylong : Intermediate / Advanced with Kylee & Devin

This year we are keeping it clean and simple. In the front half of our intensive we are going to laser focus on building confidence in the key moments of tempo that make Icarian so sweet and delicious. We will be giving you tools to own your practice to a whole new level. Precision, consistency, and progression.

In the second half of the class we will be focusing on pumping up the jams and getting into unique and challenging material that will be sure to meet every level.

Types of material we will cover; tempos, power application techniques, exponential power curves, thermodynamics, foot to foot, flipping with spins, and even a sprinkle of some whip action if we are all feeling it!

Pre-Reqs: Spotting like Jackie Chan is a requirement for our daylong as well as having an Icarian practice in which you feel comfortable doing some type of inverting skill!

Advanced Standing Acro Intensive with Ryan Gibson and Erica Linz

Spend the day on your feet or above your partner’s head.  We’ll be exploring skills past static H2H/F2H and touching on non-dance ways to show them off.  A lil’ pitching, advanced transitions in and out of H2H, a smattering of dynamic elements etc.

Class will start with a primer on “counts”, (AKA “5,6,7,8”).  We’ll use them for progressions, and a basic tool for presenting skills in a way that is sharp, clean and interesting.  Expect standing acro sequences with transitions that focus on “pedestrian” interactions between partners.

Pre-Req: Solid standing H2H/F2H with the partner you’re bringing.

Flyers will learn how to step in with confidence, clarity, strength, and trust. We will focus on progressions with an emphasis on safety, repeatable techniques, and spotting. Class time will balance technical drills, skill-building sequences, and applied partner work to support both bases and flyers in advancing their pitching practice.
